Serial production of the Tenet Plus L4 urban crossover has started at the modernized AGR holding plant in Sestroretsk, near St. Petersburg. Previously, Hyundai Creta and Solaris cars were produced here. Now the enterprise has switched to a new model, and the cars are assembled using a full cycle – with body welding and painting.

Before the launch of Tenet Plus L4, the plant underwent a serious re-equipment. 175 robots work in the welding shop, and another 54 robots are involved in the painting section.

Initially, the crossover will be available in two front-wheel drive versions – "Style" and "Elegant". Both trim levels received a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a 6-speed robotic gearbox with a dual clutch.

The basic version of Tenet Plus L4 has a digital instrument panel with an 8.8-inch screen and a media system with a 13.2-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support is provided. The car is also equipped with six airbags.

Special attention was paid to body corrosion protection during production. Hidden cavities are automatically coated with wax, and a computer controls the quality of application. In addition, additional anti-corrosion, anti-gravel, and soundproofing coatings are used.

The crossover was also prepared for Russian conditions. The equipment includes remote engine start, heated front seats, steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles. Engine protection and additional heat and sound insulation are also provided.

The top-end "Elegant" trim will feature a panoramic roof and a surround view system. However, the cost of Tenet Plus L4 and the exact start date of sales have not yet been announced. The new model became the first in the production program of the modernized enterprise in Sestroretsk.
