In 2025, S7 Technics mastered the overhaul of General Electric CF34 turbofan engines for Embraer 170 regional aircraft and CFM56-5A for Airbus A319. This is stated in the S7 Group's sustainability report.

S7 Airlines' fleet includes 17 Embraer 170 aircraft aged 21–22 years; the carrier is the only operator of this type in Russia. In 2019, engine maintenance was transferred to General Electric under an $85 million TrueChoice contract, but after GE left the Russian market in 2022, repairs were fully localized at the S7 Technics base in Sheremetyevo. Since 2022, the facility has performed major overhauls of 380 engines and auxiliary power units (APUs), 63 of which were for the parent company and 317 for third-party carriers. Standard repair times were reduced by half.

In addition to CFM56-5A and CF34, the enterprise is certified for the overhaul of the Honeywell 131-9A/B auxiliary power unit. These units are installed on Airbus A320/A319 and Boeing 737. Mastering new engine types addresses the critical need of Russian airlines to maintain the airworthiness of their imported fleet under sanctions.
