Russia is preparing to launch a new "Dan-T" strike drone missile with a flight range of up to 500 km and a warhead weighing 135 kg, according to the Telegram channel "Inzhenery ChF". According to available information, about 10 thousand such products are planned for delivery in 2027.

As specified in the publication, "Dan-T" is a hybrid of a jet kamikaze UAV and a simplified cruise missile. Unlike the "Banderol" drone missile, which is launched only from the air, "Dan-T" can be launched from ground launchers, from aircraft (Su-25SM3, Su-30SM, Su-34, Su-57) and Mi-28 helicopters. The possibility of launching from ships is also being explored.

In terms of characteristics, the new missile is similar to the aerial "Banderol", but, according to some data, it is approximately 35% cheaper. This makes it suitable for mass production and use.

Recall that in May 2026, it became known about the development of "Banderol" - an aerial drone missile with a range of up to 500 km. Now a munition with similar characteristics will also appear in a ground version, which will significantly expand its application possibilities.

Some sources link "Dan-T" with the reprocessing of the jet aerial target "Dan-M" into a strike UAV. However, there is no official information about the new product yet.
