The annual production volume of Su-35S generation "4++" fighters in Russia is about 20 units. This was reported by the publication "Tekhnosfera Rossiya" with reference to the estimates of foreign specialists.

Serial production of Su-35S fighters is carried out at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant named after Gagarin.

Foreign researchers estimate the Su-35S fleet in the Russian Aerospace Forces at approximately 120 aircraft.

Ruslan Pukhov, head of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies, explained that the Su-35S surpasses foreign fourth-generation fighters, including the Boeing F-15 and Lockheed Martin F-16, in combat capabilities, and in combat parameters — the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II.

The Su-35S is capable of sharply climbing upwards at a speed of up to 800 km/h in pitch to attack an appearing target.
