In 2025, the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) received from 14 to 20 fourth-generation Su-35S fighters. This was reported by the Tekhnosfera Rossii publication, citing sources.
In total, Rostec announced the delivery of Su-35S seven times in 2025. Thus, it can be concluded that each batch included an average of two to three aircraft.
Prior to that, the Su-35S was delivered in early March, in the second half of June, in the second half of August, in late September, in early November, and finally, in early December.
Officially, data on the number of aircraft supplied to the military has not been published since 2022.
The Russian Aerospace Forces actively use the Su-35S, and they are gradually replacing the Su-27. The number of Su-35S in service is not precisely stated anywhere. In total, Russia has produced, according to preliminary estimates, more than 150 aircraft of this type.
