The current production plan ensures stable and profitable operation for AvtoVAZ and its partners. This was stated by Maxim Sokolov, president of Russia's largest car manufacturer, at an international suppliers' conference in Tolyatti.
At the same time, AvtoVAZ today produces as many cars as possible to sell in our market, which is dynamically changing due to a number of factors.
According to Sokolov, AvtoVAZ's advantage is its efficiency and ability to flexibly respond to market conditions.
The company's press service stated that Sokolov confirmed plans for production development and investment projects. The current tasks for 2026-2027 are to update the model range, deepen localization, and improve the quality of parts, AvtoVAZ summarized.
In September, the plant will begin production of Lada Azimut crossovers. Many fans of this brand are eagerly awaiting the new product. Lada still holds leading positions in the new passenger car market.
