VK reported a net profit under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) for the first time in several years. In the second quarter of 2026, it amounted to 328 million rubles. A year earlier, the holding had reported a loss for this indicator.

Meanwhile, VK's revenue for April-June increased by 17% and reached 43.5 billion rubles. For the first half of the year, the company earned 81 billion rubles – 12% more than a year earlier.

EBITDA – an indicator that shows how much a company earns from its core operations before accounting for interest on debts, taxes, and depreciation. In the second quarter, VK's EBITDA grew by 41% to 7.6 billion rubles. For the first half of the year, the indicator increased by 34% and reached 14 billion rubles.

EBITDA margin, which is the share of such earnings in the company's revenue, increased by 3 percentage points in the first half of the year – to 17%.

Cash flow indicators also improved. VK's net operating cash flow for the first half of the year reached 15.4 billion rubles, whereas it was negative a year earlier.

At the same time, the holding reduced its net debt. At the end of the reporting period, it amounted to 60.2 billion rubles, a decrease of 27% compared to the end of 2025.

The net debt to EBITDA ratio also improved – from 3.6 to 2.3. This indicator signals how large a company's debt is compared to its earnings – the lower it is, the less the debt burden.
