Sales of the new flagship Tenet T9 crossover in Russia will begin in autumn 2026. The model was presented by the Tenet brand, and the car will be produced at the AGR plant in Kaluga using a full cycle. The crossover received three rows of seats, all-wheel drive, a 2.0-liter turbo engine, and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Tenet T9 is designed for five or seven passengers. The seven-seat version uses a 2+3+2 layout. The car's dimensions are 4810 mm in length, 1925 mm in width, and 1741 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The ground clearance is stated to be 200 mm, and the maximum trunk volume with folded seats reaches 2150 liters.

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 245 hp and 375 Nm of torque. The engine works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The crossover can accelerate to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. Seven driving modes are provided for different conditions.

The interior features a 10.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central display. The equipment includes a head-up display, a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control, and a sound system with 14 speakers. The front seats have electric adjustments, heating, ventilation, and a massage function.

Safety is provided by ten airbags and a complex of electronic assistants. 14 driver assistance systems, parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera are declared. For winter operation, a package with heated seats, steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles is provided.

Production of the Tenet T9 will be organized at the AGR site in the Kaluga region. The car will become the flagship of the Russian brand. The cost and exact configuration will be announced later. Earlier it was reported that the model is based on the Chery Tiggo 9.
