The import-substituted SJ-100 aircraft is similar in control to the basic Sukhoi Superjet 100, in the creation of which Airbus and Boeing participated as consultants. Test pilot Dmitry Salinin spoke about the convenience for the crew.

According to him, the engineers faced the task of making the cockpit and instruments similar - for ease of control.
And we, in principle, achieved this. Because this entails large financial costs for airlines. A person can perform one flight on an old machine, then switch to another aircraft - sit down and fly without hindrance.
Recall that it was from Airbus that the philosophy of control was adopted for the SSJ-100 at one time - the rejection of the steering wheel in favor of a sidestick, as well as the logic of the Fly-by-Wire digital system, where the computer protects the aircraft from pilot errors.

Recently, Rosaviatsiya extended the service life of SSJ-100s with SaM146 engines to 20 years of operation and 40 thousand flight hours. Apparently, until the SJ-100 goes into series production, they will remain the basis of the domestic fleet.
