"Kalashnikov" has developed a new version of the "Skat-350" reconnaissance drone, designed to operate in conditions of active countermeasures from interceptor drones. The development was announced by Alan Lushnikov, CEO of the concern.

According to him, the UAV has increased speed and enhanced resistance to interception means.

The next version, "Skat-220", with increased speed and resistance to FPV-air defense, is already ready.

Preliminary data suggests that the "Skat-220" accelerates to 160 km/h due to a reduced wingspan of 2.2 meters and a reduced weight of 12 kg. For comparison, the basic version of the "Skat-350M" has a maximum speed in the range of 72–120 km/h.

For a reconnaissance drone, speed is a crucial characteristic, as FPV-air defense typically flies at speeds of 100–130 km/h.
