The Kub-10ME tactical guided loitering munition will soon appear on the line of contact, Alan Lushnikov, head of the Kalashnikov concern, told TASS. The range of the new munition exceeds 100 km, the warhead has been increased to 11 kg, and the homing head is equipped with artificial intelligence elements.
The concern's engineers completely redesigned the airframe, which allowed a sharp increase in the range of action compared to previous versions of the "Kub". The munition has already gone into the army and will work in tandem with the SKAT 350M reconnaissance-repeater, which provides target designation and data transmission. Lushnikov clarified that the complex has already been presented to journalists and customers.
Until now, loitering munitions with such a range have been rare. The Kub-10ME effectively fills the niche between tactical FPV drones and heavier missile systems, allowing strikes on targets in operational depth without risk to the pilot. The link with the repeater significantly increases efficiency - the munition receives target designation even with active electronic warfare.
¹⁄₄In February 2026, "Kalashnikov" announced the creation of the KUB-10ME - Russia's first tactical guided munition with a range of over 100 km. At the same time, it became known about the optoelectronic guidance system, which allows hitting moving targets, and increased resistance to electronic warfare.
