The "Kalashnikov" Concern (part of Rostec) has developed Russia's first complex with guided tactical-class munitions, the "KUB-10ME," with a flight range of over 100 km. The device was created in record time.

The key difference of the new complex is its optoelectronic guidance system, which allows it to hit moving targets. In addition, the "KUB-10ME" is equipped with an aerial photo and video recording system that records information received from the onboard equipment.

"Kalashnikov" clarified that the "KUB-10ME" is capable of performing tasks at altitudes from 80 to 1800 m with a cruising speed of 120 km/h. The device is effective during day and night, in simple and complex weather conditions, with wind gusts up to 10 m/s, and in a temperature range from –30 °С to +40 °С.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that footage of the first combat use of the "Kalashnikov"'s "KUB-10E" guided munition had appeared. Prior to that, the concern concluded major contracts for the supply of "KUB-2" and "KUB-10" series projectiles.
