Starting August 1, the largest Russian operators will provide subscribers with the opportunity to use the Max messenger without restrictions. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development.
Subscribers of T2, Beeline, Megafon, and MTS will not consume mobile traffic packages. They will be able to use Max without restrictions even if their gigabytes run out. These conditions apply when the subscriber is within their home network.
Farit Khusnoyarov, CEO of Max, stated that the service became available thanks to the support of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development.
The ability to contact loved ones or send a document remains at any time – regardless of the tariff plan status and balance.
The messenger appeared on the market in spring 2025. Its development and support are handled by VK's subsidiary – OOO "Kommunikatsionnaya Platforma". As of the end of June 2026, Max's daily audience reached 86.2 million people.
