Russian aircraft-type drones have received a new source of mass components. The Novosibirsk bureau "Spektr" has launched serial production of propellers for UAVs, including Molniya line aircraft.
The enterprise produces 14×10 inch propellers from domestic glass-filled plastic. Production capacities allow manufacturing up to 50 thousand products monthly, and in the future, the possibility of increasing volumes to 500 thousand units per month is announced.
According to Andrey Bratenkov, Executive Director of KB "Spektr", new propellers have already begun to arrive at Russian units.
Currently, various tests are underway, including the use of a wind tunnel.
After mastering the strike version, the Molniya drone was also turned into a scout with increased flight time and a highly sensitive camera. The built-in autopilot mode allows the aircraft to maintain course and perform its task even when attempts are made to jam communications.
Another version of Molniya is with the air defense prefix. The drone was equipped with a homing head, allowing it to intercept aerial targets at speeds over 200 km/h.
