The largest ore gold deposit discovered in Russia in 2025 has been identified on the border of Khakassia and Kemerovo Oblast – the reserves of the Fedorovsko-Kedrovskoye site are estimated at 28 tons of precious metal. The exploration of the deposit was carried out by specialists from the Rosgeologia holding company in cooperation with partners.
Following geological exploration, reserves of 21.7 tons of gold in categories C1+C2 were confirmed, with an average content of 1.56 grams per ton of ore. Another approximately 6.3 tons of metal are classified as off-balance reserves, located outside the projected quarry contour.
Geological exploration took about three years – specialists performed prospecting and evaluation work, built a geological model of the object, and prepared a reserve calculation.
Rosgeologia noted that the project's effectiveness was ensured by a comprehensive approach to exploration and interaction with investors. According to experts, the new deposit has significant potential for further development.
Additional prospects are associated with neighboring areas of the licensed territory. During prospecting, zones with elevated gold content and powerful ore bodies were discovered there. In the near future, it is planned to proceed with a more detailed assessment of these areas.
