Minsk Tractor Works (OAO "MTZ") has assembled about 1000 powerful universal row-crop tractors BELARUS 1222.3 (traction class 3.0). The agricultural machine is actively purchased by farmers not only in Russia and Belarus, but also in African countries and Central Asia.

In 2024, the tractor received the State Quality Mark (valid for 2 years). The award is granted based on expert evaluation against 5 criteria: safety, environmental friendliness, innovation, technological advancement, and aesthetic appeal of the product.

Igor Zemtsov, General Designer of MTZ, stated that the work on BELARUS 1222.3 was very serious.

In essence, this model grew out of the 1221, which was very popular with consumers and proved itself quite well in all markets due to its reliability.

During assembly, the tractor undergoes multi-stage quality control. Specialists pay special attention to the climatic adaptation of BELARUS 1222.3 for foreign markets – the cabin is equipped with air conditioning.

According to Zemtsov, MTZ will not stop there, as "competitors don't let us sleep." Currently, engineers are working on BELARUS 82.4 and BELARUS 1523 models. They are striving to increase the power of agricultural machines, improve operator comfort, and reduce the number of defects during production, the general designer concluded.
