Specialists of the Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units (OAO "BZTDiA" is part of OAO "MTZ") have launched the production of BELARUS 422.1 and BELARUS 622 tractors with diesel engines of the Belarusian brand Belarco. This was announced by Vladimir Oreshko, Deputy Head of the Marketing and Sales Department of the enterprise.
Previously, we installed engines from a European manufacturer (the Italian brand Lombardini) on these models. The supply of these engines to Belarus stopped due to sanctions.
The BELARUS 422.1 tractor is equipped with a four-cylinder BELARCO WR450 engine (power 49.8 hp), and the BELARUS 622 with a four-cylinder BELARCO WR460T (power 59.8 hp).
The Belarco brand belongs to the Belarusian company "Vaysrusland". Power units are assembled at a production site in the Minsk region from Chinese components.
According to Oreshko, this alternative turned out to be successful. The updated models found their first buyers. More than 20 agricultural machines are already operating in the fields of Belarus, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan.
