A unique shot comparing the dimensions of domestic fighters Su-30SM, Su-35S, and MiG-29 has appeared online. The photo was taken at the airfield of the 61st Fighter Air Base in Baranovichi.

The photograph shows three iconic machines lined up (from left to right): the two-seat multirole Su-30SM, the light front-line MiG-29, and the super-maneuverable single-seat Su-35.

The Su-30SM is easily recognizable by its distinctive canards; the Belarusian Air Force has 16 of them in total.

The MiG-29 appears compact against the heavy "Sukhois" and is practically lost from view. According to open sources, as of 2026, Belarus had only 18 combat-ready MiG-29s in service. Another 16 aircraft are in long-term storage or reserve.

The Su-35 is the pinnacle of the T-10 platform's evolution. This single-seat heavy 4++ generation fighter is equal in size to the Su-30SM, but lacks canards and has a shorter cockpit canopy.
