The Guards missile cruiser "Varyag", the corvette "Steregushchiy" and the large anti-submarine ship "Udaloy" have received modern electronic warfare systems "Peroed-M". These systems are designed to protect ships from attacks by small unmanned aerial vehicles.

The complex is a specialized anti-drone system that combines the functions of detecting aerial targets and suppressing UAV communication channels. Its main task is to identify small drones, including FPV drones and reconnaissance quadcopters, with subsequent impact on their control and data transmission systems.

After the activation of "Peroed-M", ships receive an additional level of protection against unmanned systems capable of conducting reconnaissance, adjusting the actions of other assets, or striking targets at short distances.

Previously, the frigate "Neustrashimyy" was equipped with a similar system, where "Peroed-M" was integrated into the ship's protection systems against unmanned threats.
