The Samara District Court will begin considering the petition of the defense of three executives of OOO "SPZ-4". General Director Denis Kotov, Development Director Vitaly Zlobin, and Commercial Director Yuri Zhurba insist on changing the pre-trial detention measure.

The defendants have been in the pre-trial detention center since mid-May. They are accused of large-scale fraud in the execution of a state defense order. According to the investigation, instead of Russian bearings for the aircraft carrier "Admiral Kuznetsov" project 1144.2, Chinese analogues were supplied.

The damage from this single delivery exceeded 300 million rubles. The total amount of embezzlement, according to law enforcement agencies, could reach one billion rubles. Investigators believe that the accused intended to leave the country with their families.
