The gas route to Turkey has come under attack: the Krasnodarskaya compressor station, which ensures the operation of the Blue Stream supply system, was damaged after a drone attack on the evening of July 7. This was reported by Gazprom's press service.

The incident occurred during the NATO summit in Turkey, where issues of energy stability and security remain among the international topics of discussion. At the same time, Russian gas supplies to Turkish consumers continue – no export disruptions were recorded after the attack.

According to the company, specialists are currently repairing the damage to the station. The extent of the consequences and the specific equipment elements that were damaged are not disclosed.

The Krasnodarskaya CS is located in the Severny District of Krasnodar Krai and is part of the Blue Stream infrastructure – a gas pipeline through which Russian gas is supplied to Turkey via the Black Sea.

In 2026, southern gas infrastructure facilities have already been targets of drone attacks. Earlier, impacts on the Russkaya, Kazachya, and Beregovaya compressor stations were reported. The Russkaya station is connected to another export route – the TurkStream gas pipeline.
