The Ministry of Industry and Trade expects good demand for the Russian-Belarusian "Osvey" aircraft from airlines. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Ministry Gennady Abramenkov.
In his opinion, the LMS-192 will become a highly sought-after machine with many operators.
I think this machine will definitely have good demand in the market. It needs to be completed.
Earlier it became known that the certification of "Osvey" is scheduled for 2029. Presumably, the LMS-192 with a capacity of 19 passengers will take a place between the "Baikal" and Il-114-300.
As of July 2026, "Osvey" is in the blueprint stage — at the design development stage.
