The Russian brand Tenet is preparing to launch a new business-class sedan, the A8, which will be produced in St. Petersburg at the AGR holding's plant in Shushary. The new product will receive two gasoline power units to choose from and is aimed at strengthening the brand's position in the mid and upper segments.

The Tenet A8 model will be offered in two versions. The top configuration is equipped with a two-liter gasoline engine with 197 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This option can accelerate to 100 km/h in 9 seconds.

An alternative will be a version with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 150 hp, combined with a seven-speed robotic gearbox. In this version, acceleration to "hundreds" takes 9.9 seconds.

The manufacturer emphasizes that the model is being created as a flagship sedan for the business segment. Details on configurations and cost will be revealed later.
