A new stage in the production of SWM crossovers has begun in Kaliningrad. A welding line has been launched at the Avtotor plant, which brings car production to a full cycle. Now, crossovers in Russia undergo not only assembly but also key stages of body production: welding, painting, and final assembly.

The new welding line allows for the full-cycle production of SWM crossovers. It includes body welding, painting, assembly, and geometry control.

The line will produce G05Pro, G01F, G01Pro, and G03F models, according to the Avtotor plant.

The welding line includes several stages: assembly, installation, debugging, and launch. It can also be quickly reconfigured for different body models on the same platform, which increases its versatility.

The importance of body galvanization is separately emphasized – it increases corrosion resistance and extends the service life of vehicles.

In the near future, SWM crossovers produced using the full cycle will enter the market, the production facility reported.
