Sales of the Russian TANK 300 have started in St. Petersburg - the SUV has already become a hit

The car's production has been established at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad

Official sales of the Russian-assembled TANK 300 SUV have begun in St. Petersburg. The first vehicles, produced at the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant, have already appeared at dealerships and quickly made the model a leader in the brand's registration volume in the city.

In March and April 2026, eight new domestically produced TANK 300s were registered in St. Petersburg. Despite the small initial volume, the model accounted for 57% of all TANK brand sales in the city. For the brand, this is the best result across its entire lineup.

Assembly of the TANK 300 in Russia began in spring 2026 at the Avtotor enterprise. This SUV was the brand's first model on the Russian market back in 2023, and now it has local production.

Interest in the car is supported by its recognizable angular design, body-on-frame construction, and adaptation to Russian roads and climate. Amidst the reduction in the presence of Western manufacturers, Chinese SUVs continue to strengthen their positions, and TANK remains one of the most prominent players in the segment.

According to AutoRun SPb, the 35,000th TANK 300 was recently sold in Russia. St. Petersburg is becoming one of the most active regions in terms of demand for the model.
