A new AR training complex was presented at a specialized conference in St. Petersburg dedicated to protecting infrastructure from unmanned system attacks. This device allows mobile fire groups to practice their actions directly in real positions, without expending ammunition or going to a training ground.
The complex was created by "Baragozza Sistemy" company and is focused on tactical training of crews working against aerial targets. The system overlays a digital model of a drone onto a real landscape and generates scenarios for its movement, taking into account terrain and environmental conditions.
A key feature of the solution is the real-time calculation of trajectory and lead point. The built-in computational module simulates target parameters, including speed, direction of movement, and external factors, and also helps the shooter adjust aiming through interactive prompts. Training takes place directly in the future area of application, which allows adapting soldiers to a specific firing sector and terrain features.
According to the developer, the system also reduces operating costs by eliminating the use of ammunition and reducing the load on weapon barrels, and the digital threat model can be quickly updated for new types of drones.
