At the "Pribaltiysky Shipbuilding Plant "Yantar"" (PSZ "Yantar") of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK), the main and distribution switchboards were loaded onto the large freezer trawler "Viktor Gavrilov" of Project 5670. This was reported by the company's press service.
The BMRT "Viktor Gavrilov" implements a European power supply scheme with three main lines: 690 V, 400 V, and 230 V.
This solution allows optimizing cable networks, reducing the volume of installation work, and, as a result, lowering construction costs.
According to project manager Ilya Kozak, the vessel is currently undergoing the completion stage afloat, which includes insulation, painting, and preparation of premises for equipment loading. The vessel's delivery to the customer is planned in accordance with the terms of the contract.
The vessel is being built for the Fishing Kolkhoz named after Lenin. The contract for the construction of the "Viktor Gavrilov" was signed in 2018; the trawler's keel was laid in August 2019.
It was assumed that the vessel would be sent to the customer in 2023, but then, according to the updated construction schedule, the delivery date of the vessel was shifted. The launch of the "Viktor Gavrilov" took place in January 2025.
