The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will allocate additional funds for the completion of the trawler "Viktor Gavrilov" (Project 5670FT) for the Lenin Fishing Collective Farm (Kamchatka). This was reported by the administration of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district.
The supertrawler, in which our collective farm invested enormous sums, could have remained unfinished; we could have been left without both the ship and the money.
Construction of the vessel began in 2018. In the spring of 2023, it was suspended due to a lack of funds.
State Duma deputy Irina Yarovaya helped find financing for the project. As a result, in January 2025, the supertrawler "Viktor Gavrilov" was launched.
However, there was once again not enough money to fully complete the vessel. The Lenin Fishing Collective Farm again turned to Yarovaya for help. The deputy secured the allocation of funds from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
I am constantly in touch with the fishermen of Kamchatka, I know how much the Collective Farm is waiting for this vessel, so I am making every effort to ensure that the project is successfully completed.
