The new Evolute i-Sky electric crossover is expected to appear in Russia soon. This is a C-segment model that the brand positions between the compact urban i-Joy and the flagship i-Space hybrid. Prices and the exact start date of sales have not yet been disclosed, but the Evolute website already promises the imminent release of the new product.
What the new Evolute i-Sky can do
The Evolute i-Sky is equipped with an electric motor with 218 hp and 310 Nm of torque.
The crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The range is provided by a 62 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. On a single charge, the car can travel up to 424 km.
Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes 28 minutes.
What will be inside the Evolute i-Sky cabin
The equipment includes a multifunction steering wheel, a multimedia system with a 14.6-inch screen, and a 10.25-inch color instrument panel.
The crossover also has a panoramic glass roof, surround-view cameras, an electric tailgate, keyless entry, and wireless charging for a smartphone.
What about safety and winter options for Evolute i-Sky
Safety is provided by six airbags, the ERA-GLONASS emergency alert system, an anti-lock braking system, and an electronic stability control system.
For Russian conditions, heated front seats, steering wheel, and windshield washer nozzles are provided. The body has undergone anti-corrosion treatment and cathodic galvanization.
Prices for the Evolute i-Sky have not yet been officially announced. The launch date of sales has also not been disclosed, but the brand's website indicates that the launch is expected soon.
Who else is in the Russian electric vehicle market
One of the closest in format to the Evolute i-Sky is the Moskvich 3e electric crossover. The electric car has a declared range of up to 410 km, a power of 193 hp, and fast charging from 20% to 80% in 45 minutes.
Another notable project is Atom, but this is a compact urban electric car, not a classic C-segment crossover. It has a declared range of up to 500 km, a 77 kWh battery, rear-wheel drive, and charging from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes.
