The Voronezh Aircraft Plant failed to sell two social infrastructure facilities in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Voronezh at auction. No bids were received for the auction to sell the "Salyut" children's camp and the "Zvezdny" recreation base, with an initial price of 233.8 million rubles.
New tenders for the sale of "Salyut" and "Zvezdny" have not yet been announced.
The Voronezh Aircraft Plant is the only production site for the Il-96-400M in Russia.
Aviation expert Oleg Panteleev explained that the Il-96-400M was initially uninteresting to airlines, which opted for Boeing and Airbus.
"Pervy Tekhnichesky" conducted a direct comparison of the Il-96-400M with the global benchmark for long-haul efficiency – the Boeing 777-300ER.
