Soviet Su-25 attack aircraft, among others, will be able to use the advanced "Banderol" missiles with a launch range of up to 500 km. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Voevoda Veschaet".
Western analysts estimated the number of Su-25s in the Russian Aerospace Forces at 200 aircraft, meaning there will be no problems with carriers.
It is known that "Banderol" uses GLONASS/GPS orientation for guidance, protected by a powerful Russian 8-channel antenna with a controlled beam pattern "Kometa".
Presumably, "Banderol" is equipped with a Swiwin SW800Pro turbofan engine manufactured in China. The launch range is estimated at 500 km, and the total mass of the warhead is about 150 kg.
Military analysts suggested that the length of "Banderol" is about 5 m, and the missile was made with stealth elements. The wingspan of the retractable wing is 2.2 m. Earlier, a detailed diagram of the missile's device, associated with "Banderol", appeared online.
