"Smart homes" became a hit with Russians: demand for technology grew more than threefold

Most often, residents order "smart" blinds, leak sensors, lighting, climate control, and heating

In the spring of 2026, Russians began to order the installation and setup of "smart homes" much more frequently. According to Avito Services, demand for such technologies increased more than threefold compared to last spring. Interest in window automation grew the most. The installation and connection of "smart" blinds began to be ordered 9 times more often.

Demand for leak sensors also sharply increased. The number of requests for their installation grew sevenfold. Users are increasingly thinking not only about comfort but also about home safety.

Systems for climate and lighting control also became more popular. Demand for smart air conditioning grew 6.5 times, and for smart lighting – 6 times.

In addition, Russians began to order the installation of smart heating systems 3.5 times more often.

However, the market supply is not keeping up with demand. Over the year, the number of ads from "smart home" specialists on the platform increased by 112.2%.

Experts attribute this growth to the active implementation of artificial intelligence-based technologies in the domestic sphere.
