Engineers at PAO "Yakovlev" have patented a solution that could significantly simplify the modernization of future aircraft. This involves a nose compartment design that transforms the front part of the aircraft into a modular platform for equipment installation.

This part of the aircraft houses radar stations, computing complexes, communication systems, and various sensors. Replacing equipment often requires complex work and significant structural rearrangement.

Engineers proposed creating a separate power platform within the nose section, consisting of beams, walls, brackets, and technological platforms. Removable equipment modules can be installed within this rigid internal frame.

In essence, the aircraft gains an additional power circuit capable of absorbing vibrations, overloads, and stresses during flight much more effectively than traditional schemes.

The United Aircraft Corporation plans to increase aircraft production by 30%, stated OAK CEO Vadim Badeha.
