Urals Turbine Plant (UTZ) has modernized its steam turbine production, increasing capacity by 50% — up to 25 units per year by 2030. The enterprise has mastered the production of high-power condensing turbines, which are in demand at thermal power plants and ships.
UTZ has also improved the production of complex components — working and guide blades, rotors, casing parts, and steam distribution elements. Customers will include companies such as "T Plus", "RusHydro", "Gazprom Energoholding", and others.
The Industrial Development Fund noted that UTZ increased its fleet of metalworking equipment. The investment amounted to about one billion rubles, of which 400 million were provided as a preferential loan.
The turbine plant purchased a vertical turning lathe, a metal-cutting machine, and several machining centers.
