JSC "Dubna Machine-Building Plant" filed a multi-billion ruble lawsuit against the Perm enterprise "Proton-PM", which produces engines for RS-28 Sarmat missiles. The amount of claims has grown to 4.727 billion rubles.
The dispute is being heard by the 17th Arbitration Court of Appeal. The case was transferred to a closed session, and the appeal decided to reconsider it according to the rules of the court of first instance.
According to the case materials, back in July 2018, the parties concluded a contract for the supply of products with a total value of over 5.264 billion rubles. The completion of the contract was planned by the end of 2020.
According to open sources, "Proton-PM" serially produces liquid-propellant first-stage engines under the designation PDU-99 for Sarmat intercontinental missiles.
A day earlier, it became known about the successful testing of the Sarmat. The missile is capable of flying 35 thousand km, and none of the existing air defense systems can shoot it down.
