Main Land Fraud Schemes Revealed in "Moshelovka"

Fake receipts in messengers and fake government websites deprive dacha owners of both money and accounts

Experts from the "Moshelovka" platform of the All-Russian Popular Front have identified an increase in cyber fraud targeting landowners. The main attack channel is now not the falsification of documents during a transaction, but digital phishing through messengers and email. The key goal of the attackers is not a one-time theft of money, but a complete takeover of the account on the "Gosuslugi" portal.

To do this, fraudsters massively send messages with fake "fines": for non-payment of membership fees, for overgrown hogweed, or for "cluttering" the territory. Phishing links or QR codes are embedded in letters and SMS, leading to fake payment forms. Sometimes the victim is offered to solve the problem "with a discount" by calling the specified number, where a fake operator extracts a code from an SMS to access the personal account.

After seizing the account, attackers use it to apply for loans or further attack the victim's contacts. Experts emphasize that real government agencies and SNT boards never send payment links in messengers and do not require confirmation codes to cancel fines. The only reliable security measure is to transfer contributions only to the association's current account and ignore any "urgent" notifications received outside official channels.
