Three New "Beasts" from Rostselmash: New Loaders with Russian Engines Shown in Moscow

The machines are designed for operation in challenging conditions

At the CTT Expo 2026 exhibition, Rostselmash for the first time presented to the public three prototypes of road construction equipment: the BL 810 backhoe loader, the TLH 740 telescopic loader, and the WL 530 front-end loader. All three models were designed by the company's engineers from scratch and are aimed at replacing imported analogues.

BL 810 Backhoe Loader

The new product is equipped with a 4-cylinder YaMZ-534 diesel engine with a power of 99 horsepower and a torque of 450 N·m. The operating weight of the machine is 8700 kilograms.

The loading equipment includes a clam-shell bucket with a volume of 1 cubic meter. The lifting capacity is 3100 kilograms, the dumping height at the bucket hinge axis is 3450 millimeters. The excavator equipment is equipped with a telescopic arm with a 0.18 cubic meter bucket. The digging depth reaches 5780 millimeters, and the digging radius is 7200 millimeters.

The BL 810 is equipped with a four-speed hydromechanical Power Shift transmission. The maximum speed is 38 kilometers per hour forward and 18 kilometers per hour backward. An axial-piston hydraulic pump with a capacity of 150 liters per minute ensures high speed of attachment operation. The working bodies are controlled by two electric joysticks.

The operator's cabin is certified according to ROPS and FOPS safety standards. The basic configuration includes air conditioning, a heater, a suspended seat with six adjustments, and a cooled compartment for food.

TLH 740 Telescopic Loader

The model is equipped with a YaMZ-534 engine with a power of 132 horsepower. The average fuel consumption is 190 grams per kilowatt-hour. The maximum lifting capacity is 4000 kilograms, at a height of 7 meters - 2700 kilograms. The maximum lifting height is 7 meters, and the horizontal boom outreach is up to 4 meters.

The loader is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission, develops a speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour, and overcomes slopes of up to 25 degrees. An axial-piston hydraulic pump provides a capacity of 160 liters per minute.

The TLH 740 has three wheel control modes. The rear axle swings ±10 degrees for better maneuverability. The anti-tipping system warns the operator with an audible signal if an attempt is made to lift a load above the permissible limit, and blocks hydraulic control if the load is exceeded.

WL 530 Front-End Loader

The model is equipped with a 3 cubic meter rock bucket, designed for heavy operating conditions, and capable of lifting loads weighing up to 5 tons. The Z-bar boom design provides a high breakout force. The engine is a YaMZ-536 with a power of 218 horsepower.

Rostselmash road construction equipment is designed for use on construction sites, in quarries, agriculture, and utilities. All three models will be produced in Taganrog at the division's trailed and mounted equipment site.
