HSC200 "Primorsky" Hydrofoil Catamaran to be Commissioned in 2027

The high-speed vessel will operate between Vladivostok and Bolshoy Kamen

The hydrofoil catamaran (HSC200 "Primorsky" project), currently under construction by shipbuilders at the Livadia Ship Repair Plant (LRSZ), is planned for commissioning in 2027. This was announced by Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.

The catamaran will operate on the Bolshoy Kamen-Vladivostok route.

LRSZ is also building a 25-passenger cargo-passenger ferry. It will transport residents of Putyatin Island and Dunay village. After this vessel is commissioned, the design of a large ferry of the "Bosfor Vostochny" type will begin.

  • Width — 10.6 m
  • Draft — 1.4 m
  • Hull — aluminum
  • Displacement — about 145 tons
  • Speed on calm water — up to 35 knots
  • Passenger capacity — 200 people
