The crew of the Ansat medical helicopter of the National Air Ambulance Service (NSSA, part of Rostec) conducted an emergency medical operation during the "TransportFest" exhibition in St. Petersburg. One of the visitors felt unwell, and the duty aircraft, which was part of the exhibition, was immediately deployed to provide assistance.
The helicopter took off from the site and landed using a self-pickup method in the park area near Mikhailovsky Castle on Klenovaya Street - in the historical part of the city. Doctors on board quickly stabilized the woman's condition using the medical equipment installed on the Ansat.
Aircraft commander Vladimir Kiselyov noted that landing in such conditions became a complex practical test of the helicopter's capabilities and the crew's professionalism.
In fact, the exhibition exhibit turned into a full-fledged resuscitation module in minutes, confirming the main mission of the NSSA - to provide assistance where it is needed and when it is needed.
