The Russian Space Systems (RKS) holding (part of Roscosmos) has signed an agreement with Finrul Finance Group of Companies on strategic cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. The agreement was presented at the CIPR conference in Nizhny Novgorod.
RKS calls the implementation of AI the next stage of the holding's digitalization. According to Dmitry Lepeshkin, RKS Director of Information Technology, in recent years the company has moved from disparate IT solutions to a unified digital ecosystem that covers key areas of space instrumentation.
As part of the cooperation, specialists plan to create and train AI models for industry-specific tasks, develop software solutions based on them, and implement intelligent chatbots and virtual assistants. Special attention will be paid to pilot projects, through which new tools will be tested and gradually integrated into the holding's digital architecture.
The first work under the agreement is expected to begin in 2026. RKS expects that combining the companies' expertise will not only improve the holding's internal business processes but also create industry-specific AI tools for the rocket and space industry.
The cooperation will be developed within the framework of the national project "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".
