T-90M "Proryv" tank hit a target at a distance of 11 km

The crew of the combat vehicle used a 125-mm high-explosive shell

The crew of the T-90M "Proryv" tank hit a target from a distance of over 11 km, without using a pre-prepared covered position. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Targeting was provided by reconnaissance drones. After receiving the command to march, the T-90M "Proryv" crew moved to the firing position.

After precise aiming, the tank fired 125-mm high-explosive shells at a distance of over 11 km, which allowed it to successfully hit all identified targets.

It should be noted that the basic firing range of the T-90M tank is about 5 km. However, this figure can be doubled if indirect fire is used.

To improve firing accuracy at long distances, the T-90M systems have been modernized — the updated fire control system more accurately takes into account meteorological conditions (wind, temperature) and the distance to the target.
