The equipment of the Russian T-90M "Proryv" tank has been modernized to improve the accuracy of firing from closed firing positions (CFP). This was reported by the press service of the Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) concern.
Now the tank's on-board computer is able to determine corrections taking into account the distance to the target, terrain, speed and wind force, as well as many other parameters.
The necessary additions are made to the FCS software to improve the accuracy of firing when firing direct fire and from closed firing positions.
In September of this year, T-90M tanks alsoreceived protection against UAVs - "Arena-M". The new system includes a radar and allows you to intercept a drone at a distance of up to 50 meters and a speed of up to 1000 m/s.
