New UAZ "Patriot" fully revealed before premiere: different interior and JAC diesel engine

The SUV received a redesigned interior, LED optics, and an electronic transfer case

The updated UAZ "Patriot" was shown in photos for the first time before its official premiere. The SUV received a significantly redesigned interior, new lighting, and expanded equipment. The car's images were published by insider KhaDm.

The published shots show that the model received LED headlights, new taillights and fog lights, as well as front parking sensors. The interior features a more modern multi-function steering wheel, an updated climate control unit, a multimedia screen, and other changes that made the interior visually more contemporary.

Initially, it was reported that the photos showed a version with a new 2.0-liter JAC diesel engine with 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque. It was assumed that the engine would work with a 6-speed manual transmission and an electronic transfer case. Later, the author of the publication clarified that the images show a modification with a 150 hp ZMZ Pro gasoline engine, but a diesel version with Chinese units is indeed being prepared for release.

According to the insider, the updated UAZ "Patriot" should go on sale in 2026. The base price is expected to be around 2 million rubles, while more equipped versions with a diesel engine may be significantly more expensive.
