In the first three months of 2026, 3,403 new UAZ vehicles were sold in Russia. This is 31% less than in the same period a year earlier, according to the Avtostat agency, citing data from AO "PPK". The decline affected all models, but the commercial segment suffered the most.
The SGR family remains the leader in absolute sales with 1,333 vehicles, which is 38% lower than last year's level. The "Patriot" SUV was chosen by 878 buyers – a decrease of 26%.
The "Profi" light truck sold 628 units, losing 23% of sales, while the "Pickup" with 510 units decreased by a quarter. The "Hunter" model practically disappeared from orders – 54 units were sold, which is also 31% less than the January-March 2025 figure.
Earlier, dealers already pointed to market oversaturation, and part of the traditional demand shifted to government procurement, which is unevenly distributed across the model range.
