Russian engineers have begun testing a remote-controlled tank. The unusual vehicle has already been seen by specialists from armored vehicle repair units, said specialist Alexander.
According to him, it is a full-fledged tank that can be controlled remotely — almost like a gaming vehicle.
It drives, turns its turret. It's very impressive. This is no longer just field repair, but real design work in extreme conditions.
However, not everyone considers tanks an important element for the army. Military journalist Dmitry Steshin stated that combat vehicles have become "excellent targets" for drones even when operating from a closed firing position.
Despite this, the production of tanks in Russia has increased 2.2 times over the past four years, Vladimir Gutenyov reported. Not only the volume of production but also the quality of armored vehicles has increased.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" in a large article tried to imagine which tanks would replace the current flagship — the T-90 "Proryv" — in the future.
