In November 2024, Rosoboronexport announced that the first contracts for the supply of Su-57 fighters abroad had been signed; the buyers were not disclosed. Also, OAK head Vadim Badeha later confirmed that the first export deliveries of Su-57 fighters had already begun.

The buyers are not officially disclosed, but the Su-57 has repeatedly been seen undergoing tests in the skies of Algeria. India also maintains interest in the combat aircraft.

Earlier, Badeha admitted that the situation with supplies is complicated by the exchange rate difference between the ruble and foreign currency and the high key rate of the Central Bank.
