Tatneft plans to increase raw material production in 2026. This was stated by the company's CEO, Nail Maganov, at the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum".
According to him, the company has both production facilities and technical capabilities to increase volumes. However, the final production will depend on OPEC+ quotas, which determine the permissible production levels for participating countries.
As much as they allow us to produce, so it will be... We very much hope that they will allow us to produce more than last year. And we are capable of fulfilling this task.
By the end of 2025, Tatneft had already increased oil production by 2% – to 27.83 million tons. The company remains one of the largest oil producers in Russia, with the Republic of Tatarstan as its main shareholder with a 34% stake.
