Putin Declares Russian Mobile Missile Systems Effective

The President visited the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology and noted the use of non-nuclear ballistic systems

Mobile systems with non-nuclear ballistic missiles have proven their effectiveness in combat conditions. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology.

During the visit, the head of state presented the Order "For Valiant Labor" to the enterprise's team. The President noted that the mobile missile systems developed by the institute continue to be on combat duty and have proven their effectiveness in practice.

The Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology is considered one of the key enterprises of the Russian defense-industrial complex. Over the years, strategic missile systems "Topol", "Topol-M", "Yars", and "Bulava" were created here. Currently, the MIT corporation is part of Roscosmos.

Mobile missile systems remain one of the most complex elements of modern weaponry. Their main advantages are high maneuverability, rapid deployment capability, and increased resistance to detection. Thanks to this, such systems remain in demand in the armies of the largest states.

The Institute has been awarded the Order of Lenin twice – in 1968 and 1976.
