Foreign buyers maintain high demand for Russian military aircraft, with progress being made in the supply of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters. This was announced by Vadim Badeha, the head of the United Aircraft Corporation.
However, he admitted that working with export contracts has been complicated by the strengthening of the ruble and a high key interest rate. According to Badeha, credit funds are being attracted to fulfill agreements.
We no longer look as highly competitive in the military-technical cooperation market, considering that Chinese manufacturers, who have enormous state support, have actively started working in our traditional markets.
Badeha added that Russian combat aircraft are being modernized based on operational experience.
This work never stops; we constantly have very close contact with the troops.
The American publication Military Watch Magazine stated that Su-57 production has increased many times over since 2022 amid a rapid rise in export contracts.
Officially, the Su-57 has not yet been sold abroad. However, a lot of footage of the fighter's tests in the skies over Algeria went viral online. Also, India maintains interest in it, and there were also rumors that Malaysia was eyeing the aircraft.
