The internal components of the "Molniya-2" drones, invulnerable to electronic warfare, have been revealed

UAVs received AI technologies

Russian attack aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles "Molniya-2" have been equipped with artificial intelligence elements. The technologies help crews work more effectively in conditions of electronic warfare, the Ministry of Defence stated.

The military department clarified that the software of "Molniya-2" allows the use of machine vision for tracking and pursuing targets.

The use of "Molniya" in conjunction with small drones proved to be particularly effective. Other details were not disclosed by the Ministry of Defence.

The Telegram channel "Voennaya Khronika" specified that "Molniya-2" also received internal fuselage compartments for placing small mines. Control in the mining zone is possible via radio channel, with the connection of repeaters if necessary.

The built-in autopilot mode allows the drone to continue flying and complete its mission even when attempts are made to jam communications. For kinetic interceptors a solution has also been found, and crews are actively maneuvering.
